The Kingdom of the Spiritual Children
The Spiritual Child resides in each of us. It is a part of our spiritual essence. It is not the same as the ‘inner child’, a term discussed in psychotherapy. The ‘inner child’ relates to the Spiritual Child, but it is bound to a specific lifetime and a specific life experience. The Spiritual Child, however, does not refer to a particular lifetime, or indeed, to any life on Earth at all. The Spiritual Child is more of a cosmic concept, it is an archetype, but also a real entity in its own right Just as the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine, exist within us all, but go beyond humanity and beyond Earth, so does the Spiritual Child, or, indeed, it could be called ‘the Divine Child’.
The Spiritual Child is not related to the popular concept of ‘crystal children’, which separates children into those who are crystal-special and those just of plain mud! The Spiritual Child is within each child in the world and within each one of us.
It is a crucially important part of our soul.
It is the center of our life force shooting forward. Without the Spiritual Child, life feels meaningless and empty. Depression sets in. We may do all the right things, but receive no joy. Without it, we may turn to all sorts of addictions, to find that zest for life. Unsuccessfully.
The Spiritual Child is the manifestation of innocence, the purest of spirituality, because it is in total lack of self-consciousness.
The Spiritual Child is the perfect expression of living in the now, in absolute spontaneity and the original creativity that comes from playfulness.
It is the inborn wisdom and love, which all children have naturally, before being infiltrated by the explicit or hidden vibrations of aggression and guilt of the adults around them.
The Spiritual Child is crucially important to God’s Plan. This is why child abuse is so often an expression of darkness: it tries to kill the Spiritual Child. But the Spiritual Child cannot be killed. It can be frozen or forgotten, but it cannot be killed, eradicated or disappear, in any of us.
The freedom of imagination and the lack of inhibition in the Spiritual Child lead it to receive profound spiritual revelations, which many adults may have to work very hard to reach. Some of these revelations may indeed be accessible only through the Spiritual Child. This is why it is so important in God’s Plan. This is why adults are to learn from children (in children the Spiritual Child is more alive and present than in adults). Adults need to watch children and learn from them (rather than try to teach them to become like themselves).
There are kingdoms is the Universe, in other dimensions, whose inhabitants are only children (for childhood is not just a human concept). And there have been kingdoms on the Earth Plane too, which were once inhabited and run entirely by children, the Spiritual Children. They were all in the age of 6-7, which is a special spiritual age. There were some spirit guides present, but the guidance they gave was purely spiritual and their interference as little as possible. This was an experiment by God, a little like Atlantis, at a time when the Earth was in a very pure state and it ran beautifully. But, just like Atlantis, the kingdom could not bear the lowering vibrations and the darkness that attacked it from around and had to be submerged, gone to the underworld, in order for the beautiful Kingdom of the Spiritual Children to preserve itself.
But, for the Earth to ascend, the Kingdom of the Spiritual Children will resurrect.
And for each one of us to ascend, the Spiritual Child within, must become alive again.
The Light of the Spiritual Child beats from its Kingdom and radiates throughout the world, to wake up the Spiritual Child within each of our hearts.
We cannot reach the Spiritual Child by intellectualizing about it. Any rationalizing, analyzing, arguing or terminology, will not lead us to it. In fact, more people will become more and more bored with these approaches… The Spiritual Child’s wisdom is another kind of logic, it is like a lightning bolt from the heart. This logic is often paradoxical, unexpected, innovative, unusual, unthought of… The Spiritual Child totally trusts in his intuitive wisdom and perhaps we may need to regain our total reliance on that inner compass too.
Another important attribute of the Spiritual Child: the Novice’s Mind. It is what we come up with, when we know nothing about something. Much of the ‘knowing’ is actually prejudice. There is a vast, deeper pool of knowing, which cannot be formed in words, certainly not in the languages that we speak today on Earth. The Novice’s Mind is the opener to the Channel in each of us.
Practicing the Novice’s Mind can help us revive the Spiritual Child, but it can be hard initially. We have all been trained and taught by our parents and our education to cut out the Novice’s Mind, until it completely quiets down. We say something spontaneously and we are corrected by our parents with the ‘proper’ explanation.
Try seeing everything with the Novice’s Mind. I tried it and it is a totally revolutionary way of seeing, though it takes conscious effort. I went to the sea and asked myself: “How would I see the sea, if this was the first time I saw it and knew nothing about ‘the sea being a body of water’ etc?” I looked at the sea and blocked out all the information I knew so far…I did not censor what came through. In fact, the more ‘wrong’ it sounded to the rational mind, perhaps the better… The Novice’s mind would reply: “Well, the sea would certainly look like a living being, it roars every second, it breaths every second”. I would possibly be rather cautious to go near it. But it would be a living being. This is closer to the truth than what we know about the sea. The problem is that once we have been given information about something, we give it a label, put the label in a box, shut the box off and put it in a shelf, under the etiquette ‘Sea’. Then, nothing new about the Sea can come through. This is hardly the way to Enlightenment. We need to get our boxes down from the shelves, open them and completely open our minds.
Another example: “How would the mountain look, if one had never seen a mountain before in his life, lived all his life in the plains and knew nothing about it?”. The Novice’s mind would say: “Well, the mountain would look like a living giant, who lies there still, taking a little nap perhaps. He seems to be very shy, because when we are not looking, he tosses and moves around a bit, but when we glance back at him again, he freezes into his original posture, just like some mimes do. But he is certainly not immobile”. Energetically speaking, this is closer to the truth about a mountain than what we know from science. Mountains are energies and energy forms. They never stay still, even though their outline against the sky in the 3 dimensional world seems to be fixed to most of us, at least for now…
“How would the Sun look like to someone who had never seen the Sun before and knew nothing about it?” Sadly, there are many people in this position and I am not only talking of blindness. I am talking about the children who, perhaps because of handicap and abandonment, may be stuck in a bed of a large institution somewhere, never taken out…These ones never get to see the Sun because of neglect. How would the Sun look like to them? The Novice’s mind would reply: “Well, it would look like the centre of hope, the calling home, it would look like a God”. To the rest of us, it is just the Sun. But, the Novice’s Mind is closer to the truth. It takes some effort to reconnect with the Novice’s Mind, but is worth trying. On each situation ask: “What would the Novice’s mind see?” It also helps listening to little children. Without censoring them. Learning from them, rather than us teaching them.
The Spiritual Child plays. Through the spontaneity of play much creativity comes. Leave aside all those commercial poisonous plastic figures, competing in ugliness, trying to familiarize our children with dark forms. Watch how little children play, when they only have a few sticks of wood and some leaves to play with. Many original ideas come when children play. Spiritual guides observe and take notes. Perhaps we could do the same.
Do not allow the occasional negative behavior or tantrums of human children to draw conclusions on how cruel children can be. There is no cruelty in the Spiritual Child. Remember that human children are born on Earth, at a time when Earth bears many negative energies and discordant vibrations from the angry thoughts and acts of many generations of adults before them. Human children respond to this, some absorb it, even if they have never witnessed violence themselves. There is no cruelty in the Spiritual Child, because it only sees through the eyes of innocence and the eyes of wonder.
I remember some years ago, in London, little boys from a nursery stopped at the street and screamed with the greatest excitement: “Look, a leaky bus!”. Every boy gathered around the parked leaky bus and stared most intently, the dripping near its wheel. The leaky bus was a uniquely exhilarating experience and nothing else in the world existed for them at that point. I wouldn’t have even noticed the leaky bus or any bus at all…They saw the leaky bus with Novice’s eyes.
The Spiritual Child loves himself. Self-love is natural to the Spiritual Child. This part of ourselves just knows that we are absolutely loveable, adorable, admirable, irreplaceable in the eyes of God and highly treasured by Him. The low self-esteem that comes in human children and adults, unloved as children, is, of course due to lack of proper parenting, but it is also due to the disconnection with the Spiritual Child within. The Spiritual Child within holds naturally the source to self-love. This is why in the kingdom of Spiritual Children, there were no parents, but only a few guides, but this did not cause any problems in the love they Children experienced and expressed. However, as many adults in our society have disconnected from the Spiritual Child within, they unknowingly discourage that connection in their children also. The Spiritual Child seems to be hiding further and further away and thus we lose the source of our self-love. Everyone seems to be hungry for love, but the answer is already within. This is why it is so important for parents to seek reconnection with the Spiritual Child and to encourage their children to keep the Spiritual Child expressed and manifest as much as possible. It is their source of self-love, inspiration, meaning, joy, sustenance.
The following is a very clear example of the self-love of a Spiritual Child: Several years ago, a friend visiting relatives, held the six years old child of a relative on her lap. The child, when asked what he wants to do when he grows up, exclaimed, throwing his hand up in the air with excitement: “I will do something very good, I am loved by the whole of Greece!” There was such innocence and spontaneity and joy in these words! It was not arrogance, or wishful thinking or compensation. There was truth in his words, only that the child did not know it consciously, neither could anyone else recognize how this truth operated. Perhaps, he didn’t have a word for God or Universe, so he used the word ‘Greece’, for this is the biggest world he knew by then. Yet, it was truth. This was the Spiritual Child speaking… What was not known was that the child was being abused at the time, this was discovered later. The human child was terribly hurt, no doubt about it, and suffered many negative consequences and the effects of the abuse. However, at that very moment, it was the Spiritual Child that came through, speaking a deeply known truth, albeit only for a second. My friend never forgot the incident and the amazement she felt when she heard those words. It was Spirit talking…
The Spiritual Child is fully expressive of everything inside. He sings and dances and runs and jumps around for no reason. I remember, after a powerful liberating workshop, feeling the need, after many years, to jump around and run and dance in an open field. I did. This was the Spiritual Child coming out at last.
Spiritual Children naturally come to work together and cooperate. There is no sense of competition among them. In human children, when competition arises, it is usually the adults who instill it, in one way or other. The Spiritual Child lives in total innocence. Total innocence means perfect trustingness, no malice whatsoever, but also NO GUILT. Living in the now, means no guilt. The Spiritual Child has very little awareness or interest in the past, so it carries no guilt.
In the kingdom of Spiritual Children, all children are deeply treasured. In our world today, not only there is plenty of child abuse and neglect, but the ‘treasuring’ of children by adults, who are disconnected from their own Spiritual Child, often has elements of selfishness in it: using the child for one’s own emotional needs, obsessing about the child or ‘spoiling’ the child. This occurs when adults are unaware or have misunderstood the Spiritual Child.
The Spiritual Child is highly Spiritual. The Spiritual Child naturally understands God, totally trusts and communes with Him, simply, without blockages. In the kingdom of Spiritual Children, it was the children, who, under the essential guidance of the guides and without any extended training, performed the rituals of worship to God, with much reverence, love, seriousness and respect. Nothing more needed to be explained to them, for they understood. The Revival of the kingdom of the Spiritual Child, on Earth and in each one of us, is essential for the path to the Light and to God. It will lead to a world, where it is safe to be innocent again…
